Responsibilities:
The Director, Process Improvement will play a key role in the Canadian organization and is responsible for mapping, analysing, defining, documenting and monitoring all internal process of InComm Canada. The Director have the responsibility for developing strategic process improvement objectives and, if required, build a team with the objective of achieving quality goals, as well as developing and implementing a strategy focused on continuous improvement. This position will report directly to the VP, GM for InComm Canada.
Process Improvement Strategy:
- Establish and implement Continuous Improvement programs and culture;
- Develop, implement and maintain InComm Canada’s Process Improvement program;
- Implement and maintain a Process Improvement System and applicable process improvement frameworks such as ISO 9001 and Six Sigma;
- Establish and apply Continuous Improvement methodologies using industry best practices such as DMAIC and other improvement models;
- Establish business oriented KPI metrics (Key Performance Indicators)
- Lead process Continuous Improvement projects from KPI measurements and trends as necessary;
- Perform risk assessment in business processes;
- Look for opportunities for process improvement and champion projects to achieve efficiency gains;
- Develop, implement and maintain Process Improvement metrics and train different levels of the organization on how to use these systems;
- When required, assist the proper departments to conduct root cause analyses to address quality issues raised by InComm’s employees as well as by InComm’s customers;
- When required, identify and assist the internal departments as well as customers in implementing corrective and preventive processes;
- Provide reporting to executive management weekly, monthly or quarterly, as required
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
- Collaborate with other InComm functional areas to map, analyze, establish, document and monitor processes and best business practices where applicable;
- Facilitate and provide staff with Continuous Improvement framework training when applicable;
- If required, provide departmental budget and oversee the monitoring of all departmental spending against budget;
Qualifications:
- 10+ years relevant experience
- Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Successful quality and /or process improvement track record, including but not limited to ISO, SixSigma and other tools.
- SixSigma Black Belt certification is preferable
- Experience leading process improvement / quality teams
- Fluency in Spanish and / or Portuguese is an asset
- Skilled in presentations and negotiations
- Superior and effective communication skills
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills
- Prepaid background preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and data integrity;
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and reliable;
- Adhere to the Health & Safety Regulations
- Proven ability to create and implement strategic plans
- Proficient at using tools, such as Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, CRM applications
- Travel required 10% to 15% of the time – Domestic, US and International
