How to get the most out of your students Future Building visit?
Attend the Q&A sessions!
The OCS and the Trades have some information to share with you and your students. Each school session during the day will present a 20 minute presentation This live show would focus on specific trades and allow students and teachers an opportunity for questions and answers. Learn about:
- What is the process to apply and be considered for that trade
- What are the educational requirements
- Why they should enter the trades
- What are the benefits of the unionized trades
- Safety & why it’s important to work safe
- Work environment & where the trade works
- Apprentice wages & and expectations
All the presentation will take place on the main stage area. Be sure to attend! Look for presentation times posted at the main stage for the next presentation.
