Job Title: Litigation Administrator (Full Time)

Summary
Responsible to support and provide clerical and other administrative duties to the Legal
Department on legal accounts and issues.
Duties, Responsibilities and Job Functions
• Review of litigation files
• Produce and maintain reports relative to legal service providers
• Reconciliation of customer accounts
• Process and maintain confidentiality and security of all legal documents, claims
and agreements
• File, retrieve and archive documents including Material Contracts and
correspondence
• Process expense accounts, update Outlook calendar, maintain contact list.
• Coordinate meetings, telephone calls with internal/external contacts
• Maintain calendars of key filing and hearing dates for ongoing material litigation
and disputes
• Work on interdepartmental projects as required
• Work closely with Collections group, and Commercial Accounts as required
• Provide support and assistance in preparing, coordinating meeting materials and
agendas for distribution
• Preparing evidential documentation to support litigation process which would
include accessing databases to retrieve and examine the following:
o Conversations and Legacy comments
o Collection agency notes
o MTO requests
o Transponder Lease Agreements
o Customer Advocacy Notes and files
o Balances and payment history
o Trip history
o One Simple Bill Agreement
o Invoice Reprints
o Images of trips
• Other related duties to meet ongoing needs of the organization
Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in legal studies or equivalent, preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Windows, Internet, Outlook, various office equipment
• Experience with PeopleSoft, Billview, Iview, and DRN
• Self- motivated individual with a good sense of judgment on sensitive issues
• Able to handle daily matters with the utmost confidentiality
• Excellent communication (written and verbal)
• Well developed organization, prioritization and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Service oriented with ability to deal in a professional manner
• Ability to work well under pressure to ensure critical deadlines are met
